Miso katsu sauce

[Ingredients] (2 servings)

  • A tbspoon of white miso
  • A tspoon of red miso
  • A half tspoon sesame oil
  • 50 ml of water
  • A half tspoon of honey
  • A tspoon of soya sauce
  • A tspoon of sake/white wine
  • A half tspoon of ginger, grated
  • A half tspoon of garlic, grated
  • A tbspoon of ketchup
  • A tbspoon of sesame seeds.


  1. Mix all the ingredients and cook in a small sauce pan and bring it to the boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Serve the sauce with Ton-katsu (Breaded Pork).
